Anil Gandhi, Technical Consultant
Anil Gandhi has been engaged in Marine Consultancy with various organisations for the last 6 years. He specialises in all kinds of non-class marine inspections including Pre-purchase and Condition Surveys, Offshore installations, Load outs and condition surveys, P&I and Underwriters’ Claims Investigations, with gathering and preparation of evidence for the Expert Witness.
He was previously with Palco Marine Services, Singapore for 14 years and headed their Survey and Repair Departments, engaged in all kinds of marine services and repair jobs on board vessels. A former General Manager of Saba Marine, India, carrying out repairs on ships and at industrial sites. He has also been a Class Surveyor with Lloyd’s Register of Shipping.
He has sailed in all ranks from Junior to Chief Engineer with Indian Shipping Companies.
He has attended Condition Assessment Programme Courses at ABS and is also qualified to carry out ISM Audits.
